Our ZINE FAIR is on Sunday!

Oh yes! It’s nearly here! Our annual zine fair, as part of Festival Of The Photocopier, at Melbourne Town Hall on Sunday 12th of February.

For the first time, we’ve moved our zinefest from Degraves Subway and into the biggest room in Melbourne. There will be over 100 zine sellers there. It’s going to be bloody huge.

Also, at 4pm, there’ll be a “Distro Discussion”, where all the distro’s present at the zine fair will come together and talk about what they do, how they operate, how to stock with them, what they are looking for, and the problems with running a distro. For anyone keen on starting their own distro, or just wanting to know what it’s like, this is highly recommend. Present will be Sticky Institute (Melbourne – that’s us!), Take Care (Sydney), Smells Like Zines (Toowoomba) and Twelveohtwo Zine Distro (Toronto, Canada – international!).

The fair runs between 1pm and 6pm. Entry is free. Stallholders, please arrive from midday.

About zinester

Sticky Institute are ardent defenders of zine culture based in Melbourne's underground. We are home to the docucenter III C3100 copier, a typewriter pool, badge machines, long arm staplers, and an online mail order department. We like zines.
